Successive Orders Received for Municipal Solid Waste Incinerators in China
EBARA Environmental Plant Co., Ltd. (President: Yoshio Watanabe; Head Office: Ota-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter, "EBARA Environmental Plant") is pleased to announce that wholly owned subsidiary Ebara Qingdao Co., Ltd. (CEO: Masayuki Kai; Head Office: Qingdao City, Shandong Province, China; hereinafter, "Ebara Qingdao") has received an order from the Beijing Enterprises Environmental Group for HPCC21 Grate-type Incinerators (treatment capacity: 750 tons/day x 3 lines = 2,250 tons/day) for a waste incineration and power generation plant for Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province.
Ebara Qingdao manufactures waste incinerators and waste heat boilers for the construction of waste treatment facilities, for which EBARA Environmental Plant has received orders. Ebara Qingdao also sells waste incinerators and other main equipment and dispatches supervisors to customers who construct and operate waste treatment facilities in China during their test runs. In 2008, the company received an order for the first unit for Xiamen City. Since then, the company has enjoyed steady growth in orders received, including orders for units for Weihai City, Shanghai City, Changde City, and Taian City. In 2020, it received seven successive orders, including this unit for Zhangjiagang Cityone. As a result, Ebara Qingdao has received a total of 45 orders in China (treatment capacity: 45,535 tons/day), which is one of the largest in the country.
