Delivery of Large Municipal Solid Waste Incinerators for China
EBARA Environmental Plant Co., Ltd. (President: Yoshio Watanabe; Head Office: Ota-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter, "EBARA Environmental Plant") is pleased to announce that wholly owned subsidiary Ebara Qingdao Co., Ltd. (CEO: Tian Shuying; Head Office: Qingdao City, Shandong Province, China; hereinafter, "Ebara Qingdao"), has delivered grate-type incinerators (rated treatment capacity: 750 tons/day x 2 lines = 1,500 tons/day, maximum treatment capacity: 900 tons/day x 2 lines = 1,800 tons/day) for the East Xiamen Second Waste Incineration Plant of Xiamen City Environmental Energy Investment and Development Co., Ltd. In Fujian Province, China. Each of these incinerators have a maximum treatment capacity of 900 tons/day because the contract requires continuous operation at 120% of the rated treatment capacity.
Ebara Qingdao sells waste incinerators and other main equipment and dispatches supervisors to customers who construct and operate waste treatment facilities in China and Asia during their test runs. In 2008, the company received an order for the first unit for Xiamen City. Since then, the company has enjoyed steady growth in orders received. It has received a total of 47 orders with a treatment capacity of 46,607 tons/day.
